The Hollywood actor fell in love with Bath's Georgian heritage so deeply that he bought three homes in the area at the top of the property bubble. But now, faced with a tax bill of at least 6 million U.S. dollars, he seems to be letting go of his castle dream. The star has sold the Midford Castle near Bath, which he purchased in July 2007 for 4.75 million pounds. Although he never slept in the 18th-century castle, he was in mid-restoration and sold it off for only 3 million dollars.
